ZOMETA 4 mg/100 mL solution for infusion is supplied in packs containing 1 bottle as a unit pack or in multipacks comprising 4 or 5 packs, each containing 1 bottle.1

- Do not dilute or mix with other infusion solutions
- Administer as a single intravenous solution in a separate infusion line1

ZOMETA 4 mg/5 mL concentrate for solution for infusion is supplied as packs containing 1, 4, or 10 vials.1
- Withdraw 5.0 mL (or a lower volume, if required) from vial1
- Further dilute with 100 mL of calcium-free infusion solution (0.9% weight per volume [w/v] sodium chloride solution or 5% w/v glucose solution)1
- If ZOMETA is not used immediately, the total time between dilution, storage in a refrigerator at 2°C–8°C, and end of administration must not exceed 24 hours1
- The solution must be allowed to reach room temperature before administration1
4 mg powder and solvent1
ZOMETA 4 mg powder for solution for infusion is supplied as packs containing 1, 4, or 10 6-mL vials containing 4 mg zoledronic acid powder and 1, 4, or 10 5-mL ampoules of water for injections, respectively.1
- The powder must be dissolved completely in the vial using 5 mL water for injections from the ampoule supplied1
- Further dilute the required amount with 100 mL of calcium-free infusion solution (0.9% w/v sodium chloride solution or 5% w/v glucose solution)1
- If ZOMETA is not used immediately, the total time between reconstitution, dilution, storage in a refrigerator at 2°C–8°C, and end of administration must not exceed 24 hours1
- The solution must be allowed to reach room temperature before administration1
